Project management for today

The Bachelor of Science in Project Management equips you with the right mix of technical, leadership, strategic, and business management skills needed to meet employer demand and thrive in a project management role. You’ll learn techniques and tools for managing complex, long- and short-term projects successfully and cost-effectively. You’ll also learn to:

    • The Foreign Credential Evaluation (FCE) is a required assessment of all transcripts and documents from non-U.S. accredited post-secondary education institutions. (Review the FCE requirements by country.)

  • English language proficiency proof. Students for whom English is not their primary language must submit one of the following:

    • Official associate or bachelor's degree transcript from an accredited college or university in the U.S., stating degree conferral and date

    • TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo, or NU Global Exam scores

  • Other materials may be required

Your path to a master’s

PlusOne accelerated master’s programs provide motivated students with the opportunity to start earning their master’s degree while pursuing their undergraduate education.

By completing the BS in Project Management, you can advance your learning by applying up to 16 earned semester hours (or up to 22.5 quarter hours) toward both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees. This allows you to receive your graduate degree one year sooner than you would with a traditional master’s in the following program:

This is an estimate based on the tuition rates for Academic Year 2025-2026 and does not include any fees or other expenses. Some courses and labs have tuition rates that may increase or decrease total tuition. Tuition and fees are subject to revision by the president and Board of Trustees at any time. Select programs at select campuses offer additional scholarships of up to 25% off the listed price for domestic students studying on campus. For students interested in pursuing financial assistance or educational loans, additional educational costs, known as Cost of Attendance (COA) components, can be included in the calculation of aid and loan eligibility. Components may include food, housing, books, course materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, personal expenses, and the cost of obtaining a first professional licensure. Please keep in mind that COA can vary significantly depending on academic program, enrollment intensity, and individual circumstances.

Northeastern University is proud to offer up to a 50% tuition scholarship to students enrolling in our Oakland-based bachelor’s completion programs for fall 2025 or spring 2026. This initiative is designed to bring Northeastern’s high-quality, career-relevant model of higher education to adult learners in California with scheduling flexibility at a more accessible tuition rate.

Eligible online programs include:
Advanced Manufacturing, Analytics, Digital Communication and Media, Finance and Accounting Management, Information Technology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Management, Project Management, Psychology

This Oakland-based opportunity is built for working adults and California residents who are ready to finish what they started. Students benefit from the flexibility of online courses and the support of a world-class university.

Scholarship Eligibility

Students with 60 or more college credits or an associate degree
California residents who have earned at least 60 college credits or completed an associate degree are eligible to receive a 50% tuition scholarship, evenly distributed across their remaining terms of study.

Students with fewer than 60 college credits
California residents with some college credit, but fewer than 60 credits, may qualify for up to a 50% tuition scholarship. This will be distributed across the full duration of their enrollment in one of the eligible bachelor’s completion programs.

Affordability Example

Tuition for the 2025–2026 academic year is $560 per credit ($808 for select lab courses). Total program tuition for a student entering the bachelor’s completion program with 60 credits remaining is normally around $33,600

With the 50% tuition scholarship, eligible California residents can reduce tuition costs to approximately $16,800. This estimate is before applying any additional financial aid, such as federal grants or loans. (Note: tuition rates are subject to annual change.)

This scholarship makes it significantly more affordable to complete your bachelor’s degree at a top-ranked research university, with the flexibility of fully online learning and optional in-person experiences.
