Roxbury A2M Workforce Accelerator
The Roxbury Associate to Master’s (A2M) Workforce Accelerator is a scholarship program for biotechnology, healthcare administration, and information technology students in the Boston area.
Qualifying students are eligible to receive scholarships of up to $10,000 per student per year as they work from an associate degree toward their master’s in these in-demand fields. This unique program is facilitated in partnership with Roxbury Community College and made possible through the U.S. Department of Education’s Congressionally Funded Community Projects grant.
This program provides students holistic, personalized support, including financial assistance, textbooks, computers, and transportation. Students are also equipped with a personal A2M advisor and course roadmap to enable their academic success and to ready them to thrive in their careers.
Our A2M model prepares learners for success in these in-demand fields by shortening the time to degree completion and by providing valuable research experiences, paid internships, industry and peer mentorships, specialized advising, and other tailored academic, career, and social supports.

- Increased lifetime earning potential with an advanced degree (master’s degree holders earn 65% more than those with an associate degree)
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Roxbury A2M program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Be an actively enrolled student at Roxbury Community College or have graduated from Roxbury Community College in 2023
- Enrolled in a qualifying biotechnology, healthcare administration, or information technology degree program
- Demonstrated financial need (per FAFSA application or Pell Grant eligibility)
- Full-time student (minimum 12 credits each semester)
- Minimum 2.5 GPA (associate or bachelor’s degree students) or 3.0 GPA (master’s degree students)
- U.S. citizens, permanent residents, refugees (section 207)
Please note: Eligibility will be reviewed semiannually to ensure that students continue to meet the criteria listed above. All scholarships are subject to availability.
